There are many factors that can cause erectile dysfunction. Some of these factors can be within your control, should you want to feel more manly. Some you will need a mindset change on, making the decision that something has got to change so things can improve for you. Other people may have tried to make this mindset change and failed many times. They then think change isn’t possible for them, a negative limiting belief.
However, change is possible. Sometimes you might just need a little bit of extra help.

Weight
Should you be overweight, consider shedding those excess pounds and kilos you are carrying.
Imagine slimming down, becoming trimmer and more toned.
How much of a physical difference would that make to you?
Do you think you would move through your day more easily without carrying that extra weight, pulling you down?
Do you think you find yourself being more confident, feeling more in control?

Physical Activity
It is so important to do some physical activity during the day. When we make time to do some physical activity it makes us feel good in ourselves. This is because our body makes endorphins after around 30 minutes of exercise. You can exercise at home, outside, alone or in a group, having others to cheer and support you on, even make new connections.

Addiction
We know that doing anything to excess can harm us. Being addicted to alcohol, drugs, pornography can have a very detrimental affect on you.
How many times can you put down your lack of intimacy with your partner to “brewers droop” because you are consuming alcohol to the excess? Because you want to blot something out, or sleep better or just to forget that you cannot function like a man? A vicious cycle. Alcohol can reduce the production of testosterone and interferes with the messages from the brain to fill your penis with blood.

The drugs that you used to take occasionally are no longer giving you that high or that nice whoosh affect. They are destroying you as you need to take them more often. This then leads to being in a haze, disconnected from reality and those around you. Your body always wants to let you know when it is unwell, showing you signs. You have chosen to ignore them, but you lack pf performance in the bedroom doesn’t go unnoticed by your partner.
Too much pornography can lead you to compare and despair! You don’t look the same down there, your partner may not have the body as they do on screen. Looking at porn can lead to you being desensitized to sex as you are viewing so much of it. You can have unrealistic fantasies or expectations of what you would like to happen in real life, but it doesn’t happen and you don’t get aroused enough or cannot perform.

Did you know that smokers increase their likelihood of having erectile dysfunction?
When you think about it, you are taking toxins into your body with every inhale. You contaminate your blood supply which is needed to fill the penis. The inhaled toxins damage blood vessels, narrow arteries and reduce blood flow. This is aside from the damage that smoking tobacco in any shape or form does to other parts of your body. So quit smoking today to give yourself a better chance at pleasure, joy and a healthier life.
Stress – identify stress to improve ED
We all have varying degrees of stress in our lives. Stress can come from your partner, family, work , time (not enough of it) to name but a few.
It is how we manage our stress that allows us to live a balanced more harmonious life.
So take a breather for a moment, sit down in the quiet and see if you can
- Identify the source of your stress
- Change the situation or your reaction to the stress
- Let it go and move on. Don’t hold onto stress.
- Sometimes you have just got to laugh, keep a sense of humour about things.
- Change your energy by movement, laughter or connection.
The true power of your subconscious is not yet fully known. We do know that feelings and emotions drive habit and behaviour, these are all traits of your subconscious mind. If you find it hard to make a positive lasting change in your life, it is because your subconscious mind is pulling against your conscious, logical, rational mind. Your subconscious mind overrides what you are willing to do. We operate on at least 95% of our lives from the programming in our subconscious mind. It drives the whole show! As the subconscious mind is at least a million times more stronger and more powerful than the conscious mind, you can see at times why change can be so difficult for people.
