Do you love your job more than you love yourself, sacrificing everything for it?
Because eventually, something has got to give!
We can get so consumed by many things in our lives. We can literally get lost in a moment until before we know it hours have simply melted away!
I am increasingly finding more and more adults who are living highly stressed lives are not taking the time out of their day to even eat properly. If you have a young family and work outside the home it may be a scramble to just get out the door in the mornings. You may or may not have had time to eat in your own home, perhaps grabbing a slice of toast on the run and drop your child to pre-school, creche, or school for their own breakfast, before you make it to work. En route to work you may enjoy some dashboard dining, stopping at a local garage or treating yourself at your desk when you arrive at work. Does this sound familiar?
Then, and I have at least one person in mind when I write this, they used to have so many weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and then yearly deadlines to meet. They would go into work at the crack of dawn and more often than not work straight through their lunch just trying to keep up and cope with everything. A drink, a sandwich, and of course a treat or two for lunch and then cans of coke or Lucozade for energy. They weren’t eating healthily at all. They were just existing. Despite family at home, they felt they had to meet those deadlines every single time, getting more and more stressed and locked into this increasingly unhealthy way of living mentally, emotionally, and physically, risking their health and family life.
So is there a solution? Yes, there is: taking the time to reassess and decide to put you and your health first.
With my hypnotherapy coaching program, we can look at the areas of your life you were struggling with, discover your values and help you set boundaries, which in turn will help you lower your stress levels. Through the power of hypnosis your stress and overwhelm can be addressed and help give you a different perspective on life.
Love yourself enough to set boundaries. Your time and energy are precious. You get to choose how you use it. You teach people how to treat you by deciding what you will and won’t accept.”
